Before your appointment.
How far in advance should I book bridal alterations?
For the most comfortable timeline, we recommend beginning two to three months before your wedding. More complex work, custom additions, or peak-season appointments may require additional time.
How many fittings will I need?
Most bridal gowns require two to three fittings. The exact number depends on the construction of the gown, the alterations requested, and how the fit develops between appointments.
What should I bring to my fitting?
Please bring the exact shoes and foundation garments you plan to wear, along with any veil, topper, or accessories that affect the fit or length of the gown.
Can you customize or redesign my wedding gown?
Yes. Depending on the gown, we can reshape necklines and backs, add sleeves or straps, refine corsetry, apply lace and beading, and create custom overskirts, capes, boleros, and other enhancements.
Do you offer rush bridal alterations?
Yes, when the schedule and scope of work allow. Priority and Express Rush fees apply, and availability must be confirmed during an in-person consultation.
Can you make a custom bridal, evening, or cocktail dress?
Yes. Atelier Areno accepts select custom bridal gowns, eveningwear, and cocktail-dress commissions. Custom projects require a design consultation, measurements, fabric planning, and progressive fittings.
